Tanner Annala, a student in our welding program used the CNC Plasma Cutter and skills he has learned in class to manufactured this sign for Ely Township. It will be powder coated and be placed at the Ely Township Park in Diorite.

The Westwood High School Concert Band and Percussion Ensemble held their annual Winter Concert in the Patriot Performing Arts Theater. As usual, they performed beautifully under the direction of Mr. Erickson. Congratulations to all the students involved in the music program at WHS. Please join us in the Patriot Performing Arts Theater on December 13th for the Holiday Chorus Concert. Performances will take place at 1:00 pm and 7:00 pm. We look forward to seeing you there!

Thank you to this group of seniors who helped direct traffic during the elementary holiday concert. It was a gorgeous day and the students did a fantastic job! Also, thank you to the staff at Sherrie's restaurant for accomodating us and for the delicious breakfast!

There are a few students missing from the picture, so thank you as well!!

As winter approaches please remember to drive carefully on the way to school. Be sure to give your self extra time in the morning on days when the road conditions may be snow covered and slippery. We would much rather you be a few minutes late than be in a rush and have an accident.

Winter break begins Thursday, December 21st with students returning to school on Wednesday, January 3rd. Enjoy you much needed time off!
