Crown Point Community School Corporation is thrilled to welcome the future class of 2037! If your child will be five years old before August 1, 2024, and you live in the district boundaries, the district invites families to enroll for kindergarten on February 29, 2024.

We encourage all families to enroll in-person at your child's future school on February 29, 2024 from 9:30-11:30 a.m. or 1:00–3:00 p.m. Crown Point Community School Corporation enrollment is NOT open to individuals who live outside the district.

Eisenhower Elementary fifth graders finished their Don Quixote unit with a surprise celebration. The students became "royalty" and enjoyed evil giant juice, "moldy" cheese, and turkey legs!

Taft Middle School recently hosted their first Science Olympiad tournament. 15 high school teams and 13 middle school teams from Indiana attended. Taft Middle School placed 2nd overall, Wheeler Middle School placed 5th overall, and Crown Point High School placed 7th overall.

Your daily dose of cute is the Timothy Ball Elementary student newsletter, written by the 4th and 5th grade Newspaper/Media Club students. Check out their hard work and read about the great things happening at Timothy Ball. Job well done!

Welcome, Milo and Carver! Through a grant with the IDOE and RoboKind, our exceptional education classrooms at Taft and Wheeler have two new 'guests' who are helping our students with their social skills.

Join Dr. Todd Terrill, Superintendent of Crown Point Community School Corporation, and other district administrators for conversation and a cup of coffee. No presentation or talking points - this is simply an opportunity to engage in conversation with the community.

St. Patrick's Logo Contest for Students

Try your luck at designing a new City of Crown Point logo with elements of St. Patrick’s Day, such as leprechauns, shamrocks, the color green and more! Entries must be hand-drawn and include elements of St. Patrick’s Day. See attached paper for your entry.

Participants must be 17 and under! Logos are due Tuesday, Feb. 20. Entries can be submitted in person at the PACE Department Office on the second floor of Bulldog Park or mailed to Bulldog Park, 183 S. West St., Crown Point, IN 46307.

Winners will be announced during the March City Council meeting. Those with questions should email events@crownpoint.in.gov
