Tech support
online: https://www.help.k12.com/s/submit-a-case
Most cases are resolved in 24 - 48 hours.
Note: You are still responsible for attempting to log in on a back up device and complete school work/attend classes. Students are expected to have less than 10 unexcused absences a year. It is important that your student work on their regular device or a back up device to avoid unexcused absence build up.
You will receive a case number. You need to keep this.
Notify your teacher of your issues and give your teacher your case number.
If you have a case number, you can use this in your report absence note. The Attendance Office will be able to work with you regarding excused or unexcused absences if you have a case number.
If your tech support case is taking too long to get resolved, then this case number can also help escalate your case to resolve it sooner.
School Documents
Submitting the form does not mean the absence will be excused as there are guidelines as to what an excused or unexcused absence is. Attendance will always follow up on any form submitted.

As students get ready to head back to school, Texas Parents for School Options wants to help place parent and student letters to the editor (LTE) in publications across the state. The goal of the LTEs is to celebrate virtual schools, share why families chose their virtual school, and the specific benefits it provides students. We encourage students to write their own letters, but parents are welcome to submit one as well. If you are interested in writing an LTE please email texas@parentsforschooloptions.org for character counts and further guidance on how to write and submit the letter. Submissions are due August 19.

It is always the best policy to contact your student's teacher first with questions. It is LSOA Policy that staff respond to family messages within 24 hours or the next business day. You may experience responses up to 48 hours during the busiest times of the year (August/September and April/May).
Staff are in office 8:00am to 5:00pm CST to answer your questions, Monday - Friday following the LSOA School Calendar for this school year.
Some staff may be out on PTO and it is LSOA Policy that they have an autoreply during their out of office times with directions for Learning Coaches with urgent concerns.
