Meet our Athletic Director

Greetings Mitchell High School students, families, community, and alumni!
My family and I are honored to become a part of a great school community that has a time-honored tradition of success and pride. I came to Colorado Springs in 2013 from Lincoln, Nebraska, and began my career at Harrison School District 2. I taught social studies and AVID, coached many sports, and became an administrator in 2019.
My core values revolve around excellence, family, integrity, and service. One thing that I can always promise you is that I will work my hardest to ensure our scholar-athletes receive a top-notch high school experience where they are valued, challenged, and inspired to be the best they can be. When we hire coaches, program directors, and club sponsors, we look for these same qualities to ensure our scholar-athletes are receiving a similar message throughout the entire school. This is where culture-building becomes a key aspect.

Carver Elementary, You Are Amazing!
It wouldn't have been possible without their great teacher, Sean Sorensen who coached our kids. He did an amazing job and our students represented Mitchell High School well. Our students showed up for a great demonstration of a variety of science experiments. They demonstrated, explained, and involved Carver's 3rd graders.
