We were so fortunate to have speaker Joe Beckman join us at GHV to meet with our middle school and high school students last Thursday. In addition, Joe shared an awesome message with our high school staff.
As co-founder of the organization TILL360 Consulting, Joe Beckman’s mission has been "to RECLAIM HUMAN CONNECTIONS in school communities throughout the world." Joe has shared his infectious energy, humor, and passion with over 2,500 schools. And has positively impacted over 1 million people through live speaking events, YouTube videos, and his book, Just Look Up - 5 life-saving phrases every human NEEDS to hear.
For our middle school students, Joe talked about being a difference maker, a difference taker, or a difference faker.
Our high school students heard the message that we need to stop listening to the NEs (not enoughs) and that we really ARE enough, just the way we are.
There was singing. There was dancing. There was laughter. There were even tears! If you haven't already, please ask your student about Joe's message of inspiration and hope.
