Week of November 20th and 27th, 2022
From the Desk of Mrs. Methvin
Greetings IGA Family!
As we prepare for our Holiday Break, the week has been busy with Thanksgiving activities and fun. The overarching theme has been thankfulness. We are thankful for our families, school, freedom, and each other. Thanksgiving, which occurs on the fourth Thursday in November, is based on the colonial Pilgrims' harvest meal. The holiday continues to be a day for Americans to gather for a day of feasting, football and family. Thanksgiving is simply inspiring. There’s something about this particular holiday that causes us to reflect on what’s really important and brings a fresh perspective into our lives. Please take the time to be reflective and thankful during the holiday season. Eat good food, laugh until you cry, and hug your loved ones tightly.
Happy Thanksgiving!
