It's K-3 MOWR Season!

ATTENTION: MOWR Contacts

It is important to ensure the appropriate School-level and LEA-level permissions are assigned within ADEConnect. ADE cannot update permissions and/or contacts in the portal. Click HERE for guidance to add, remove, or edit MOWR contacts at both the school and LEA levels. Help us ensure current contacts are listed, as we pull MOWR distribution lists directly from the MOWR portal.

Verify K-3 LEA and Schools

Double check that all K-3 schools are listed for your district/charter organization and MOWR allocations for FY21 and FY22 are present. Please email the MOWR team ASAP if anything is missing.

Verify Submission Requirements and MOWR Allocations

Click button to verify your K-3 LEA Organization and all K-3 schools. All K-3 schools are required to submit a literacy plan and beginning-of-the-year universal screening data by October 1, 2021.

New Guidance Published: Dyslexia Training Designee

Training for Dyslexia Training Designee:

As required by ARS 15-211, the Dyslexia Training Designee (DTD) can be any Kindergarten through Third Grade teacher on a given campus. Any campus that serves K-3 students must identify at least one DTD for that campus. This document provides guidance to schools and districts for implementing this position on their campus, as well as the approved list of dyslexia trainings.
