PTC MEETING
The next and LAST PTC meeting of the school year is scheduled for Tuesday, May 16th at 6pm in the school library. Join us!
We will be having elections for the 2023-24 school year. The positions available are, President, Vice President, Treasurer and 3 Executive Board members. The links can be found on the school website.
MIDDLE SCHOOL ACTIVITY NIGHT
Student Council will be hosting an Activity Night for 5th-8th Grade students on Friday, May 19th.
The cost will be $3. There will be many games and concessions available for purchase!
We hope to see you there!
ERIN SCHOOL FINE ARTS NIGHT
You are invited to our Annual Fine Arts Night on Tuesday, May 23rd. Come view fine works of art from all students in Kindergarten through 8th Grade and hear some great music!
Doors open at 5:30pm. The 4th-5th grade concert is at 6pm and the 6th-7th grade band and middle school choir will perform at 7pm.
Please come and celebrate the Arts!
SCHOLASTIC BOOK FAIR
The Scholastic Book Fair will be in the school library on May 23rd-25th.
Time to pick out some summer reading materials for the family! The PTC is also offering 25% off all books (discount does not apply to non-book items).
Hours are as follows:
May 23 - 7:45am-8:30pm (Extended hours for those of you attending Fine Arts Night!)
May 24 - 7:45am-3:30pm
May 25 - 7:45am-3:30pm
HELP THE WASHINGTON COUNTY HUMANE SOCIETY!
The Student Council is asking middle school families to donate supplies to the Washington County Humane Society!
The homeroom with the most donations will be earning popsicles! Please turn in all items by Thursday, May 25th.

NO AFTER SCHOOL CARE - 6/2/23
There will be NO AFTER SCHOOL CARE offered on the last day of school, Friday, June 2nd.
Students will be dismissed at 11:30am and will need to take the bus or be picked up.

ATTENTION 5K-5th graders at Erin School! You are invited to Summer Good News Club! It will be held June 26th-30th at Central Middle School after summer school.
Good News Club is an exciting, fun-filled club for kids in which the Bible is clearly taught with songs, stories and games!

FOREIGN EXCHANGE STUDENT HOSTING OPPORTUNITY
Would you or someone you know like to host a foreign exchange student? Learn about another culture and share the best of ours while enjoying an “adopted” teenager in your family. This is an opportunity to connect with an adventurous young student and form life-long connections with someone from another country.
The Rotary Club of Hartford is sponsoring a 17 year old girl from France who will be arriving in late August 2023. She will be here in the USA for 1 year and Rotary is currently searching for 2 families that will each host the student for 6 months. One family for mid-August to January and a second family for February to mid July 2024. You must live in the Hartford Union School District.

It's POOL PARTY time!

ORIOLE ASCENT FIRST LEGO LEAGUE ROBOTICS TEAM
FIRST® LEGO® League Challenge (FLL Challenge) is an international program, created by FIRST® and LEGO®, designed to get children interested in and excited about science, technology and engineering through teamwork, robotics, and research.
It is open to students in 5th - 8th grade from Hartford Union High School feeder schools.
They will be holding an informational meeting on Wednesday, May 17th for families that may be interested in participating in our FIRST LEGO League.
