Superintendent Search

The search for the District’s next Superintendent is under way and our Board of Education needs your help. The following are opportunities for you, our parents/guardians, to give your feedback to be considered in the selection process of the District's next Superintendent.

  1. Online Survey
    This survey will be available from September 11 - October 2. The link to the survey will be emailed to you, and it will be available on the Superintendent Search Page on our website (www.sd25.org/SuptSearch).

  2. Elementary Parent Focus Group
    September 13, 2023 | 6:15pm - 7:15pm
    Ivy Hill Elementary School

Stella Station

Did you know that next Tuesday, September 12 is Video Games Day in both the USA and Canada? Instead of just playing video games, why not do some video game-related math? Clicking on the link below will bring you to a page of leveled math puzzles. Puzzle A is the easiest, and C is the most challenging. At the bottom of each puzzle is a link to a Google Form where your child can submit his / her answer to see if it is correct. They can even take a picture of their math work and send it to me. I'd love to see how your child solved the problem. Your family can complete one problem or all three! You can access the page of puzzles by clicking on this link: VIDEO GAME MATH. ROSH HASHANAH

Jewish New Year and holy days. Days of Renewed Responsibility and the first of the High Holy Days. The traditional greeting during Rosh Hashanah is the phrase “Shanah tovah,” which translates to “Good year.”

Please also make every effort for your child to arrive at school on time. Missing the beginning of the school day often has a negative impact on students for the rest of the day. Please contact the office if your child will be tardy or needs to leave early!


Student Health: If your child has tested positive for COVID-19, you can notify the school nurse for guidance regarding how many days it is recommended to stay home (5 days with day 0 as onset of symptoms or test day if asymptomatic) per Illinois Department of Public Health.
