Thursday, November 30 is our Annual Rocket Ready Holiday Family Fun Night! This event is for ages 3 - preschool. Enjoy holiday activities and a free bookshop!

Practice: Wednesday, November 29, 3:45 - 5:00 PM.

Wednesday, December 5, Richards students will perform songs to celebrate the season! K- 2 students will perform at 6:00 PM and grades 3-5 will perform at 7:00 PM.

Middle School Band & Choir will perform in the Spring.

Today, Mayor Mike Topliff and West Plains City Transportation Department personnel met with Richard's R-V Art Students to thank them for their work on "Sleetwood Mac" and to congratulate them on winning the plow painting competition. Also on hand were representatives from Perennial Energy, who donated the sand blasting of all the plows.

Recently, we have had an increase in parents walking up to the school during dismissal and waiting for their student(s) to be dismissed. This has made the student pick up process more challenging for the staff. More importantly, the increase in students walking through and around vehicle traffic has resulted in a few “close calls” concerning student safety.

With student safety being our primary concern, we have decided to make a minor modification to our end-of-day student pick up procedures: Beginning November 27th, we are requesting all parents stay in their vehicle and enter the student vehicle pick up line versus walking up to the school and picking up your student(s).
