Absences, Late Arrivals, Early Pickups and End-of-the-Day Pickups

If your child(ren) will be gone or late, you MUST call the attendance line: 952-758-1405 (24/7) or main office line (after 8:00am): 952-758-1400, have your child bring a note to the office in the morning before or on the day you will be gone. If your child will be leaving early, have them bring a note to the office first thing in the morning to get a pass. Thank you!

Notes from Mr. Gregor and Mr. Bell

Dear Families,

We would like to welcome all families and students to New Prague Middle School for the start of the school year. We are off to a great start to the year! Classroom expectations by teachers were gone over the first week of school by teachers, and building-wide expectations were presented and established by us with grade-level assemblies the first week of school. Teachers started teaching the grade-level standards, and families should start seeing assignments, projects and assessments to learning standards in all subject areas. Families can monitor their student(s)'s progress by checking grades on Infinite Campus. If help is needed with that, please contact the main office at 952-758-1400. We are looking forward to a great year!

6th Grade Jump Start

6th Grade Jump Start was a great success and the students talked about their comfort level starting school after completing Jump Start. Students were able to meet their teachers, meet students on their team, learn and walk their schedules and of course, practice their locker combos. The NPMS Glue Crew also had a student panel answer questions and speak about their experiences at the middle school (see photo below). Over 300 students attended Jump Start this year! Our mission for Jump Start is to help students feel more comfortable for the first day of school. Thanks to families for getting your children to NPMS for this opportunity.
