PRESIDENTS DAY = NO SCHOOL
Monday, February 17th, is Presidents Day. All schools will be closed. We look forward to our students’ return on Tuesday, February 18th.
VALENTINES DAY: A “HEART-FELT” THANK YOU!
Thanks to all of our parents who planned, led, or contributed to our Valentines celebrations. This is simply our favorite party of the year as each student so revels in each valentine they receive and all the special treats and activities you provide. A great day of celebrating our Davis Richmond Community!

Order in or bring the family to California Pizza Kitchen next Tuesday the 18h and 20% of what you spend will come back to our school’s PTO! Be sure to tell them you are there for the Davis-Richmond School fundraiser.

ATTENTION TALENTED TIGERS ONE AND ALL! It's time to register your act for Tigers Have Talent! Tigers Have Talent is our PTO-sponsored talent show fundraiser that gives students a chance to perform on stage in a fun, non-competitive environment. DAVIS FAMILY LEARNING NIGHT
Kdg - 2nd Grade Families are invited to a Family Learning Night on Thursday, February 27th from 6:00 - 7:15pm. Students will guide their families through reading, writing, math and movement activities in their classroom and in the gym. Come and go as you can!
Everyone attending will be entered into our Raffle Prize Give Away. Special thanks to McAlister's, Dairy Queen, Townhouse Books, Sports Clips, and Colonial for donating gift certificates and prizes which will be in addition to books, stuffed animals, and games.
KINDNESS ABOUNDS AT DAVIS
This week, Davis students have been looking for kindness. Teachers and students have awarded their friends for the thoughtful, generous, helpful acts with a special “Kindness Paw.” Check out our Davis Richmond Facebook Page to see all the paws we collected.
BIRTHDAYS ARE A BIG DEAL AT DAVIS PRIMARY
In consideration of the health of all students, as well as, students with medical or dietary restrictions, we ask that you let us celebrate your child’s birthday.
● Every child will have his/her birthday announced over the intercom in the morning.
● They will lead the entire school in the pledge.
● They will receive a Birthday Book from the principal.
● The classroom teacher will also do something special in their classroom.
No need to send in any items for birthdays.

RICHMOND BIRTHDAY CELEBRATIONS
In consideration of the health of all students, as well as, students with medical or dietary restrictions, we ask that you let us celebrate your child’s birthday.
Students will have their picture and name displayed on their birthday over the morning video announcements. Students will come down to the office to pick a birthday book. Thanks to our student council for choosing books.

ST. CHARLES EDUCATION FOUNDATION
Please support the St. Charles Education Foundation. There are a few tickets left for the 25th annual gala on February 22, 2020. But even if you can’t attend, you can still support the foundation. In addition to bidding on some fantastic baskets, anyone can buy e-raffle tickets for a chance to win $500 cash or $500 in D303 fees!
