GENERAL INFORMATION
Senior Field Trip
We are planning a Field Trip this spring for our senior students. We will be leaving on Thursday, April 25th, and returning on Sunday, April 28th. Please use this link to see the full itinerary and cost. We will have a parent meeting on Wednesday, December 6th at 7pm in the Karns HS library.
To secure a spot for your student, you will need to place a $150 deposit by December 15th. We will need at least 35 students to register for the trip to make. Please use this link to secure your spot on the senior trip. Refunds will only be given if we do not have enough students for the trip to occur.
All students planning to attend should be on track to graduate (one grade check per semester), and should not have any out of school suspensions. If your student does not meet the requirements, he/she will not be permitted to attend and you will not receive a refund.
November Tutoring
Prom Information
In order to attend prom, students must meet the following guidelines:
1. A student can have no more than 4 days of OSS.
2. A student must be on track to graduate.
3. A student can have no more than 15 absences (excused or unexcused) for the year. Exceptions may be made for medical or extenuating circumstances.
4. A student can have no more than 10 unexcused tardies to school.
Prom dates must be under the age of 21 to attend with a KHS student. If a student outside of KHS is attending prom, they must have proof of good standing from their base school via a form submitted to the school by 3 weeks prior to prom.
