We will be observing Thanksgiving with a special meal on Friday, November 18. We invite all who are able to attend, but we must have prior reservations in order to have an accurate headcount for ordering food. The meal is $4.00 for all guests who attend. Please place your reservation by Thursday, November 11.

All PTO Spirit Wear Orders are DUE on Wednesday, November 9. Order forms are available in the PC Office.

We are excited to welcome friends and families to our 3rd grade music program on Thursday, November 10. Ms. Andruss, Ms. Behrens, and Mrs. Baranski's classes will perform at 6:00 p.m. Ms. Limon, Ms. Lohse, and Ms. McCormick's classes will perform at 6:45 p.m. Please have your student come to the music room at least 15 minutes prior to his or her performance.

November DONUT challenge!

Read a dozen, earn a donut!

Every student that reads 12 different books (or has 12 books read to them) during the month of November will qualify to come to the donut party!

Every book counts for the challenge! Picture book, chapter book, non-fiction book, etc!

Fill out the form and have parents sign the form and bring it back to Mrs. Riner by the end of November.

The goal is to have over 200 students complete the reading challenge! I believe we can do it!!!

Our school hours are 8:45-3:45 p.m. Doors open and Breakfast is served beginning at 8:20 a.m.

Our PTO meets the first Tuesday of every month at 5:30 p.m. Everyone who is a parent of a student at Pauline South and Pauline Central is a member of PTO. We encourage anyone who would like to attend or participate in any way to contact our PTO president, Bailee Crawford at crawford_bailee@yahoo.com.

Our next meeting is scheduled for Tuesday, December 6, at Pauline Central.

Parents of students attending a Title 1 school have the right to request information on the professional qualifications of your child’s teacher and any paraprofessional working with your child. The information you may request includes:

• If the teacher has met the state qualifications and licensing criteria for the grade levels taught;
• Whether the teacher is under an emergency or other provisional license or whether the licensing criteria has been waived;
• The teacher’s degree major and any other graduate certification or degree held;
• Whether the child is provided services by a paraprofessional and if so, their qualifications.
