INCLEMENT WEATHER
As we approach the inevitability of Minnesota Winter approaching, we want to communicate our inclement weather protocols. Because of the potential for a regularly scheduled day to become an unplanned E-learning day as weather dictates, we would encourage students to bring MacBooks to and from school.
If the Superintendent cancels schools due to inclement weather, families will receive a skyward alert by 6:00 am informing them the day is an E-Learning Day. Staff will have items placed on Schoology at 8:30 am. High School students will have approximately 30 minutes of engaged time for each class period and middle school students will have approximately 20 minutes of engaged time for each class period on inclement weather days. Staff will be available to respond to email and Schoology messages between 9:00-3:00 per the negotiated MOU on inclement learning days.

HIGH SCHOOL YEARBOOKS
GRADUATION DATE & TIME
We have set the Graduation for 2024 to be on May 31st at 7:00pm. You received an email from our staff that asked about the days and times that you thought would be best. We had an overwhelming response that indicated Friday would be a better time to have graduation than Saturday evening. We have worked with the all-night graduation party and still intend to host that on Friday following graduation. Students who have the potential of MSHSL spring section events will be able to attend both their potential competitions, as well as graduation. We will use this year to determine if this is a better fit for our school community. Please mark your calendars for May 31st at 7:00pm when we will celebrate the 2024 graduating class.
CLASSWIZE
Reminder: On January 3, the screen monitoring tool Classwize replaced the previously used screen monitoring tool in Apple Classroom and was enabled on all school-issued student devices.
BLOOD DRIVE
Student Council is hosting a blood drive on Wednesday, January 24th.
