Happy New Year Mayo Families!

"2024" is going to be a great year at MAYO! A short week ahead after a much needed winter break!

2023 ended with a busy week and an amazing Holiday Concert! What an incredible turnout to hear such talent. Of course the Grade 3 and Kindergarten ushers were also adorable. Before break, there were reptiles visiting 4G (thanks to Kellan's Mom) and 60 recipients of the December Choose to be Nice "Acceptance" certificates. Classroom 2C gave their classmates "Compliment Presents", and everyone LOVED wearing PJs to school!

Unfortunately, over break, a family from our Mayo community experienced a house fire. We have reached out to see what is needed and how we can help. We are thinking of them and will provide updates as we receive them.

Dear Mayo Families,

Volunteer for the Mayo Winter Book Swap! On January 8th the kids will attend Book Swap during their Specials time. They will have a chance to make a small craft and choose a book to take home to keep. We need help with set up, class times and clean up. A current Cori form is needed to volunteer. Thanks so much for your help!

We will be collecting used books for the Book Swap until January 5th, there will be a large box in the school lobby for kids to drop off the books.

Some donation guidelines:

Gently used books only, no torn or stained pages please

No books older than 10 years

No board books please

Appropriate for K-5th graders (no adult books)
