What a snowy, wintery day! At this point, I have not heard anything about any school delays or closures for tomorrow. Stay alert for any announcements from the school text alerts.
Last week we focused on hallway expectations throughout the week. Teachers practiced the hallway expectations with their classes and there were reminders on the announcements each day. Next week, we are going to focus on how to be respectful, responsible, and safe in the cafeteria.
Please make sure the school has the most recent phone number to contact someone in case of illness or emergency. You can update your current OneView account here: https://mansfield.esvportal.com/Login.aspx As Mr. Jefferson said in his Fireside Chat this evening, having the most updated information on your child is critical. Please makes sure to make any updates directly in the portal. This includes DELETING old numbers and making sure anyone that may pick up your child is on that list. We cannot let students go with someone that is not on that list, even if you call in or send a note.
As it is every year, winter has brought some illnesses to our students. If your child has a fever, he or she cannot come back until he/she has been fever free for 24 hours (without medication). This is very important step to prevent sickness from spreading in the classroom.
