Dear OMS families,

Congratulations to our kindergarten, first, and fifth graders on completing their first week of hybrid learning! As always, thank you for all your support at home. We look forward to welcoming more owls back to the nest next week. 2nd, 3rd, and 4th graders: we are ready for you!

Parents and siblings, please help keep our community safe by wearing your masks during arrival and dismissal.

ARRIVAL

All Kindergarten, 1st and 5th graders will enter the building at 8:50. These students WILL NOT line up on the playground. Please do not arrive before 8:50, but if you are here before 8:50 use the orange dots located by door 1 and door 7.

**First graders should enter through the main office doors.

All 2nd, 3rd, and 4th-grade students will line up on the playground. Your location will be marked with an orange cone and a sign with your teacher's name. 2nd, 3rd, and 4th-grade teachers will greet students on the playground this week.

DISMISSAL

3:30 pm - All intermediate students (grades 3,4,5) will be dismissed at 3:30. This way older siblings will be outside to greet younger siblings.

3:35 pm - All primary students (grades K, 1, 2) will be dismissed at 3:35. All primary teachers will walk their students to the exit doors this week and next week and wait outside to ensure students are able to find their parents and/or siblings or find the loading zone.

We are encouraging all students with Chromebooks do update their browser. The process takes about ten minutes and then will require students to restart their computers. This update will improve Zoom function as well as NWEA MAP testing features.
