End of Year Collections
Because social distancing orders are remaining in place, we will be scheduling end of year collections for June 1-4. The schedule will reflect an alphabetical collection of textbooks, library books, music instruments, music books and uniforms along with a time to clean out your academic and PE lockers. The purpose for the alphabetical collection schedule is to support siblings and promote social distancing across the campus for grades 6-8.
A schedule with specific time slots for each of these collection days will go out this next week to limit traffic on campus and promote social distancing throughout each day. Please mark your calendars appropriately.
· If you cannot make your scheduled day for collections and locker clean out please contact an administrator.

The CVUSD math pathway displayed in the attachment delineates the CVUSD Math Pathway for the 2020-2021 school year. These state standard pathways do not allow students to go from Math 6 CP to Math 7Accelerated or Math 7CP to Algebra 1CP directly. In order to advance from Math 6CP to Math 7 Accelerated or Math 7CP to Algebra 1CP, students must complete the Boost Exam with a score of 70% or higher.

● Description: Students seeking to boost from Math 6CP to Math 7A will be skipping half a year of the 7th Grade Math Standards. The District’s boost exam will test those concepts and standards from the first half of the Math 7CP course.
