On Monday, October 3 at 9am, we will have a Town Hall meeting. Parents, please join us and meet with Principal Angie Wright. It's your opportunity to hear about all the great learning going on at Craig and ask questions or voice concerns.

Come join us for Walk To School Day, on Wednesday, Oct. 12th. Our Planet Green Team will be greeting you with some goodies!!! It's great exercise, great for the environment, and a fun time with family and friends. Hope to see many of you!

Does your child want to participate in the STEM/Science Fair??

Please be aware that the work must be completed at home.

There are six specific STEM problems for students to choose from and one that is their choice.

They will choose ONE to complete. Driving Question is due Friday, Sept. 30th. Please print out the second half of parent letter for the Participation form (letter found in google classroom) Any questions please email: karen.greenblat@gcpsk12.org

You can bid on front row seats which will be reserved for you! No need to arrive early, your seats will be waiting on you. All money raised by Brookwood Schools Foundation comes right back to the Brookwood cluster schools!

Please log in to your MyPaymentsPlus account and sign off on receipt of the new handbook and new Policy JCDI.

Please check the front portico for lost jackets, lunch boxes and water bottles regularly. At the end of each month, all items will be donated.

Ice cream will be sold on Fridays! All ice cream costs $1 - bills only; no change please. Orders are taken and filled at the very start of the day. Therefore, please do not drop off ice cream money later in the day if your child forgets it. There is always next week to order! Three choices are offered each week; one is always non-dairy. Teachers also have the nutritional ingredients for each choice if your child has allergies to specific items. Ice cream is distributed at the end of lunch in the cafeteria.

Remember:

• Bring a photo ID with you to check in.
• No fast food is not allowed in our cafeteria.
• Visitors asked to enter and exit through main school entrance.
• Visitors should not escort children to recess, clinic, classrooms or other parts of the builing.

As a reminder, no doors in cafeteria should be propped open. If you go outside to eat with your child please reenter the building through the door on the breezeway with the doorbell. We appreciate your help with this!
