NYS Math Test Grades 3-5, May 2-3. Students must be on time!
A Message From Mrs. O'Shaughnessy
I hope everyone had a wonderful week even though the weekend seems to be a rainout. As we close out April, and begin May, we are planning for a busy, successful end to the 2023 school year. As you can see, the calendar is filled with many opportunities to take part in all the fun! We have our Wellness Fair, Field Day, Dance Festival, New Family Events, STEM Night, Musical and Theater performances and of course, Stepping Up and Graduation. It may be the end of the year, but it is definitely the busiest.
This Thursday, our teachers will be meeting virtually with our families to discuss the next grade. For example, our current Kindergarten families can join the Grade 1 team, and the grade 1 families can join the grade 2 team, and so on. Sessions will be from 4-5, 5-6 and 6-7. I will be posting a special newsletter this week with the links.
Our grade 3, 4 and 5 students will be taking the NYS Math test this week. We completed the NYS ELA, and this is our last standardized test for the year. I am so proud of our students, and how well they managed the test.
May is Mental Health Awareness Month. This is something that is very important to all of us. Stay tuned for workshops, information and of course our Wellness Fair!
Middle School offers all went out this week. Stay tuned for 3k and PreK offiers, as well as the Gifted and Talented application, which opens this month too!
Have a wonderful week
