Ranger Round Up!
News to Know
PRINCIPAL'S MESSAGE
How about that Darby football team?!?! We are so proud of these players and coaches for their success on the football field these past three weeks. We have had big wins against Kimmons, Van Buren, and Greenwood. We beat Greenwood 56-38 on their home field! We have also had strong showings in recent volleyball matches and cross country meets. All our student-athletes are working hard to represent our school and they would love your support. If you are interested in attending an athletic event check out our school calendar for competition dates and locations.
Progress reports and parent Schoology codes will go home with students on Monday, September 20th. Please contact individual teachers if you have a question about a course grade. Teacher emails can be found on our school website. Teachers are always available for phone or in-person conferences. Parents can check student grades on a daily basis throughout the school year using Schoology. This is a great resource provided by our district!
All 8th grade students (in person and virtual) will be taking the PSAT this week on Tuesday, September 21st. This test is being given district wide at all middle schools. This test measures the knowledge and skills in reading, writing, and math students learn in the classroom—the same knowledge and skills your child needs to succeed in college and career. Click the link to read some fast facts about the 8/9 PSAT from College Board. Please make sure your student is on time to school, eats a healthy breakfast, and comes with their Chromebook charged.
