SEF is excited to welcome the Sunnyvale community to Dallas' premier event venue, Union Station - located in Downtown Dallas on February 17th at 6:30 p.m. The theme of the evening is "Black & White," so wear your best black or white (or both!) and get ready to enjoy the Sunnyvale event of the year!

Sunnyvale Education Foundation Awards Over $80,000 in Teacher Grants
Recently, the Sunnyvale Education Foundation Grant Patrol surprised SISD teachers with over $80,000 in innovative teaching grants. Teachers applied for grants for everything from musical instruments to supplies for learning about this spring's total solar eclipse to uniforms for or Special Olympics athletes and support for SHS' new Gold Jackets program (and so many more!).
These innovative grants are made possible by the generous support of the Sunnyvale community and SEF's generous sponsors. Thank you, Sunnyvale!
SEF Honors Sponsor With Annual Thank You Breakfast
As a measure of gratitude, SEF thanked its 2023 Gala sponsors for their generous support of the students and teachers of Sunnyvale ISD at its annual Sponsor Breakfast on October 31 at the Dallas Athletic Club.
The breakfast featured a special student panel, moderated by Superintendent Matt Kimball. Students offered their thoughts on how SEF grants enhanced their teachers' lessons and thier learning experiences.

These students spoke about Mrs. Stanfill's grant for Littman stethoscopes in the HST classroom and other medical equipment SEF has helped fund for her classroom.
SES Counselor LeeAnn Hill represented SES and spoke about the "Raider Relax Room To You" boxes grant in which she applied for an received.
Mission:
To enrich education with grants for innovative and engaging teaching, new technologies and school improvements;
To encourage teachers and school staff members who guide student learning; and
To increase community support for the Sunnyvale Independent School District.
