Dear RedHawk Parents and Guardians:
Summer is finally here! While summer may be a fun and relaxing time for our students, here at WMS it is a busy time. We get training on new curriculum, get the school clean, work on our schedule, and a whole huge list of other things to prepare for the next school year.
I want to thank you all for a great school year. The partnership between a school, students, and parents makes all the difference in the lives of our students. Middle school can be challenging sometimes, but when we work together, we can accomplish great things!
A special SHOUT OUT to all of the parents who helped with all of our end of the year celebrations. We truly appreciated all of the help with concerts, the 8th Grade Dance, and being here to help out today for the last day of school. We couldn't do it without you!!!
I hope each of you gets to enjoy some downtime this summer. Spend outside, some time getting messy, and some time doing what you love.
Best-
Mr. Loversky

Attention 8th Grade Celebration Volunteers:
'Thank You' does not sum up the gratitude felt for all your efforts Friday May 19th!
To those who donated snacks, decor, or drinks during this busy and beautiful season of the year, thank you. You ran out to the store, added it to your budget, managed to get the items to the school, all in time for an amazing event.
To those who showed up to clean, move furniture, and decorate, thank you. We were very short of volunteers going into the event and you truly showed up! You sacrificed time and energy to get the cafeteria and hallway red-carpet ready. Some of you missed out on getting your kids ready, brought kids along to prepare for the event, and even worked as a PTO volunteer right up until your anniversary dinner....literally. We could not have created such a memorable evening without each of you.
To those who supervised, served food and drinks, welcomed students at check in with a smile, or stepped up to troubleshoot minor issues to ensure all students had a great time, thank you. Our students are blessed to have such fantastic adults in their lives.
Lastly, to the crew who stayed that night until every single item was clean and put away in an organized fashion, thank you! You not only made the work fun and quick, but ultimately set up the next 8th grade celebration coordinators for success.
We hope you each got to see the joy on the 8th graders' faces or hear a fun story about the evening! The memories experienced that night were thanks to you, our WMS family.
Sincerely, Lisa Spyrnal
on behalf of the WMS 8th grade families and WMS PTO
