Akins Band Pre-UIL Concert & Clinic
Thursday - March 27th - Akins High School
Concert Start Times - For Family, Friends, and Supporters
6:00pm - Concert Band
7:15pm - Symphonic Band
8:30pm - Wind Symphony
Theater Opens Between 5:50pm and 5:55pm
This concert format is different than a normal concert. Each group will perform at their set start time. Following their performance there will be an approximately 35-45 minute clinic on stage with the evaluators that are with us that evening.
The audience is welcome to stay in the auditorium for the clinics, however we must ask that there be no talking or noise. It is recommended that parents and supporters attend the concert for their student and then return to pick them up. The hallway and band hall will also be available during clinics if you would like to talk, etc.
