Principal's Post
Hello West Ridge Families!!!!
HAPPY Valentine's Week!!!
There is no school Friday, February 16th or Monday, February 19 (President's Day). We will have school Friday, February 23rd.
Spring Break is March 22nd-March 29th.
Valentine's Day Reminders:
Please give flowers, balloons, stuffed animals or large Valentine items to your child at home. We are unable to deliver items to classrooms and the items are not allowed on the bus.
End of the Day Student Pick-Up Reminders:
If you are going to park and pick-up your student after school, you need to pick them up at the Southgate. We are asking that parents do not meet their students in the car pick-up line. We are loading students into cars and the area becomes to crowded. We also strongly ask that all families use the crosswalk. This is for everyone's safety.
Triple Play:
Thank you all that came out for Triple Play Family Night. We raised a little over $3,000 for West Ridge Elementary.
Conferences:
Conferences will be Thursday, March 14th from 4-8pm and Friday, March 15th 8:30-12:30pm. Your child's teacher will send out sign up information when that date approaches.
Medications:
- If your child needs to take medication at school, the medicine has to be signed in at the office.
- Please DO NOT send medications in your child's backpack.
Weather Change:
- As the weather begins to get colder, please make sure your child(ren) are dressed for the temperatures outside.
Please call the office (208-773-7291) if...
- your child will not be at school
- for any end of day transportation changes (before 3:00)
Label your child's...
- lunchbox
- water bottles
- coats
- this helps us return lost items
Reminders:
- no hats in the building
- hats can be worn outside at recess
- please walk your bikes and scooters on school property
Office hours are 8:00-4:30 and PD&I Fridays are 8:00-3:30
