From our PTO President
Hello Merryhill Families!
The hustle and bustle of the holidays are over, and the kids are hopefully rested and ready to get back to start the second half of school.
Just before the holiday break, your PTO reflected on everything you all helped us accomplish so far this school year. Let’s take a look back at what your PTO has done with the help of all of you.
-Helped raise $3500 for Three Square Food Bank
-Raised $1900 at the Fall Festival Silent Auction to help o-set costs to help with the library renovation.
-By eating out during our Family FUNdraisers, at various restaurants, you helped give back to the school, so far, approximately $600.
-And the BIGGEST, most SUCCESSFUL event thus far this school year, WINTER WONDERLAND! You helped your PTO raise a little over $5000 to cover ALL of the library renovation project. The kids are going to be so excited for this one. Stay tuned on how they can become part of the project. We are hoping to have the renovation completed by the end of February.
As 2025 begins, get ready for some more Family FUNdraisers, kicking off with Lucilles BBQ at The Red Rock Hotel, on Jan 28th from 11am-10pm. 20% of sales will be donated back to our school. February 26th brings dinner at Chipotle and March 27th will have you eating at Panda Express. Flyers for all three will be coming soon!
So much to look forward to for this second half of the school year: school talent show, Valentine’s Day Flower Grams(information coming soon), Field Day(parent volunteers welcomed), Kick-Off to Summer Party, and a few surprises sprinkled in between. Thank you all for an AMAZING first half of school!
