Cheerleading Tryouts are this Thursday, September 29th in the Gym from 3:15 - 4:30.

Girls should wear their PE uniforms and tennis shoes for clinic and tryouts.

There will be a cheer clinic, which enables candidates to learn and practice cheers, chants, and jumps.

Cheer Clinic and Tryouts are closed to Family and Friends.

Please find below the link to a permission form for the 8th grade trip to visit Strake and St. Agnes Academy. Even if your child is not planning to attend one of these schools, it is a great opportunity for them to see a high school in action for the day. The students go to a few classes, get a tour, check out the sports and the arts, and eat lunch with Honor Roll alumni. Last year's experience proved to be very valuable to our students.

Please fill out the online field trip form for Strake for your son or St. Agnes for your daughter BY Monday, September 26th. The schools need to prepare ahead for our transportation and lunch. The trip will be on Friday, September 30th. A lunch will be provided, but your child may certainly bring his/her own lunch. The students will be required to wear a navy polo (regular or dri-fit) and khaki shorts/skirt/pants and tennis shoes.

The THRS Chapter of the National Junior Honor Society is sponsoring a Pink OUT Day on October 13th. All proceeds raised will go to The Rose, a 30 year-old non-profit in Houston, that provides screening and treatment for breast cancer.

Students, Teachers and Parents have the option of buying a THRS Pink-OUT 2016 t-shirt on-line from Custom Ink for $20.00. THESE WILL ONLY BE AVAILABLE FOR PURCHASE UNTIL TUESDAY, SEPTEMBER 27TH! Shirts will be delivered and distributed on Campus on Wednesday, October 12th. Students will be able to wear their THRS Pink-OUT shirt ON OCTOBER 13TH AND THE OTHER THURSDAYS IN OCTOBER. All donations and purchases are tax-deductible!
