Noon Message From Dr. Hudson
September 25, 2023

Cedar Hill ISD Families,
On Friday afternoon, the Cedar Hill ISD Board of Trustees partnered with several community organizations to hold the inaugural Staff Appreciation Tailgate. Thank you to All-Pro Dads, The City of Cedar Hill, District PTA Council, Cedar Hill Education Foundation, Camille's Kitchen and all the volunteers who made the special event possible. Their dedication and hard work did not go unnoticed, and their contributions were instrumental in creating a memorable day for all Cedar Hill ISD staff. We enjoyed some great music and delicious food, had some laughs and most importantly, had the opportunity to connect with each other.
CHHS Fine Arts Presents: The Addams Family
Those looking for a “spook-tacular” experience need to look no further and turn to the CHHS Performance Arts Center, which will be haunted by the Addams family September 28-30th. Presented by the CHHS Fine Arts Department, “The Addams Family” is a comical feast, embraces the wackiness in every family, features an original story and plays out every father’s nightmare.
This production showcases the Kooky, Spooky, and all together Ooky crisis that has arisen in the Addams Household. Wednesday Addams, our sweet princess of darkness is all grown up, is in love with a “normal man” and has a desire for “one normal night" with her family. Wednesday has confided in her father who must keep the secret for the dark and mysterious Morticia!
Join the scholar performers as Wednesday and the rest of the familiar and beloved characters from the Addams Family share their journey towards the darkness! The first show was set to begin at 7pm Thursday September 28th. Remaining showtimes are 7pm Friday September 29th, and 3pm Saturday September 30th. I will see you there!
Have a great week!
Dr. Gerald B. Hudson
