You can now access your student's STAAR scores from the 2022-2023 school year through the PowerSchool Parent Portal. Please call the main office for assistance accessing PowerSchool.

School Hours/Horas de Escuela

8:00 - 3:20

*Parents will not be able to conference with teachers during arrival or dismissal. Please reach out to the teacher directly to schedule a conference during an alternate time.*

Arrival:

Supervision is not provided for students who arrive prior to 7:30am. Parents are responsible for supervising their student until the doors open at 7:30am. This is a safety concern. All students will enter through the front doors.

Students arriving after 8:00 a.m. will be marked TARDY by their teacher.

Dismissal:

If there is a change to your child's pick up method, please notify the teacher and front office. We will not change a student's dismissal method without parent communication.

Students must be in uniform at all times. Shirts should be tucked in with a belt. Girls may wear skirts of an appropriate length with shorts or leggings underneath. No hoods or ripped clothing may be worn. No jeans.

Hello Parents,

Welcome to the 2023-2024 school year. We are excited about this school year and your child’s education. It is imperative that we work together to ensure your child receives a high-quality education. This year, our goal is for our students to master grade-level goals and for them to read at or above their grade level. Our teachers will have “What Your Child Needs to Know” Parent Meetings to explain their expectations. The meetings will be from 3:30 to 5:00 p.m. Please see the schedule below:

· Wednesday, September 6, 2023- 5th grade

· Thursday, September 7, 2023- 4th grade

· Monday, September 11, 2023- 3rd grade

· Tuesday, September 12, 2023- 1st and 2nd grade

· Wednesday, September 13, 2023- Pre-K and Kinder

Bienvenidos al ciclo escolar 2023-2024. Estamos muy entusiasmados con este año escolar y la educación de su hijo. Es imperativo que trabajemos juntos para garantizar que su hijo reciba una educación de alta calidad. MAP Growth is an assessment we take three times per year to measure your child's growth over time. It helps teachers identify areas of need for your child and standards they have already mastered. Welcome to the award winning counseling department at Thomas Tolbert Elementary. As the counselor, I am eager to work with your child in building future leaders. I will be providing in-class, group, and individual guidance to ensure that your child receives the best support possible.
