The Library of the Early Mind : an exploration of the impact of art and children's literature on our kids, our culture and ourselves
Join us at the John McGlashan College Library for a viewing of the amazing DVD, The Library of the Early Mind, featuring around 40 authors and illustrators talking about their work and the impact that it has. This documentary is especially relevent if you work in a primary school, but other school sectors will also find it very valuable. The DVD has been screened in other SLANZA regions and received rave reviews - so don't miss out on this opportunity!

Trailer: 'Library of the Early Mind'
Outline for the afternoon:
- 3.30 pm Tea and coffee and a Pink afternoon tea - please dress in pink as well and brighten up the term!
- 3.50 pm Briefing on items of interest from the recent National Executive meeting
- 4 pm Viewing of The Library of the Early Mind (please note, the DVD runs for approx 90 minutes)
- 5.30 pm The Pink party continues with pizza for those who wish to stay on.
Pink Party and Pizza
For those who'd like a bit of a chat and gossip after the DVD, please stay and continue the Pink Party! Wear your best festive pink outfit and we will order in pizza (there will be a small charge to cover the cost of this)
