Principal's Message
We are thrilled to be kicking off the 2022-23 school year! Welcome back to all of our students and their families.
This year, Gates Chili will continue to cultivate a welcoming, affirming and equitable environment where barriers are removed, empowering growth, learning, and success for all. We will also continue to maximize student growth by being responsive to academic and social-emotional needs of the learning community.
As we move away from COVID-19 protocols and policies, our goal is to return to pre-pandemic routines and procedures. This includes students eating breakfast in the cafeteria, parents/guardians entering the building to sign in students who are arriving late or to pick students up early and beginning to offer more student and family events at school. Look for a flier coming home soon with information on our first fundraiser of the year, as well as a Splatter's event!
We look forward to partnering with you this year!
Mrs. Cutaia & Mrs. Doty

Arrival and Dismissal Reminders
Please make every effort to get students here on time. The morning is when students are typically the most focused and do their best learning. Students who arrive after 9 a.m. will be marked tardy.
Dismissal: Afternoon pick-up begins at 3:20 p.m. at Door 3. Parents/guardians should park their car and walk to the entrance with their photo identification. A staff member will take your name, check your ID, and let another staff member know that you are here and your student may be released.
If you are picking up your child from school, it is important that you notify the school prior to 3 p.m. This will ensure your student is dismissed to the correct exit and is promptly released upon your arrival.
If you are running late, please call the main office at 247-2144 and let us know. If you have not picked your student up and we have not heard from you by 3:45 your student may be sent home on the bus.

Staff Spotlight
These two women keep our students healthy so they are ready to learn each day. Always smiling and willing to help, students know they can count on Ms. Cole and Ms. Mosher for anything they need from a band-aide or a lost tooth, to an ice pack or a thermometer. They partner with families, staff. and physicians to provide necessary care for all of our students, creating a safe, nurturing, and inclusive school environment.
Please join us in thanking them for all they do each and every day to support Paul Road.
