Donations to Support Redford Brightmoor Initiative
We are excited to work with the Redford Brightmoor Initiative and their efforts to support families in need! Upton will have bins in our Main Office where we will gather donated items. If you are able, please consider donating an item or two. You are welcome to place them in your child's bag with a label marked "donation." Donations will be collected through Friday, January 12. Here are requested items:
TOILETRIES: all toiletries are needed, especially toilet paper, diapers (sizes 1,4,5,6 and pull-
ups), baby wipes, paper towels, deodorant (men and women), shampoo, body wash,
sanitary products, etc

Winter Weather Wear
With the weather getting colder, it is important that your child is prepared to go outside for recess. Please make sure your child has a winter coat, hat, and gloves. I would recommend snow pants and boots when we have snow on the ground.
Family Information Updates
Changing your email address? New telephone number? If you don't want to miss a communication from Royal Oak Schools, check your information in MiStar. Families can edit their contact information, add ways they would like to receive communications, or change their password to something easily remembered in the MISTAR Parent Portal. You can use this link to get started: https://mistar.oakland.k12.mi.us/royaloak/ParentPortal/
However, address changes cannot be updated using the Parent Portal. All address changes must be made with the District Central Enrollment Office, located at 800 DeVillen, Royal Oak, MI 48073.
