Almost Thanksgiving!

Good afternoon,

I hope that you have had an enjoyable weekend. We have only 1 week until Thanksgiving Break and Progress Reports for Quarter 2! We hope that you are taking advantage and the teacher newsletters and our tutoring time during the week. Once Thanksgiving is over, we will only have only 4 weeks until the end of the semester. Stay strong, Falcons, and continue to soak up all the learning possible before the semester ends!

This week, our amazing Junior Civitans will continue collecting canned food for the Salvation Army to help those in need. Our SIC and PTO will meet on Tuesday at 5:30 and 6:30 in the Media Center. The Charlotte Hornets "Hugo Book Bus" will be on campus Thursday for 6th graders, and Boys Basketball will have a scrimmage that evening. Friday, our PTO is sponsoring a movie night in the Auditorium! We will be showing "Home Alone," and we welcome families to attend. Please make sure to sign up to attend, or to sign up to volunteer!

RHS Recognizes National Native Amerian Heritage Month

November is National Native American Indian Heritage Month and we are proud to join the national effort in celebrating and highlighting the many achievements of Native Americans.

Our schools are celebrating National Native American Indian Heritage Month with activities and lessons that will lift up significant people in the history of our community, state, and nation. Additionally, Native American culture is a part of our year-long curriculum and we are working toward celebrating diverse backgrounds today and every day of the year.

Throughout this month we will share stories and highlights celebrating National Native American Indian Heritage Month from some of our schools. We invite you to follow along with us on Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter.

Hoodies versus Crewnecks

Please note, we will be phasing out hoodies over the course of this year. You may continue to wear Sullivan hoodies this year, however, Sullivan will begin selling only crewneck sweatshirts and in 2024-202 hoodies will not be allowed.

Safety

As sunrise is occurring later in the morning, please remember that supervision and the doors open at 7:45. Students should not arrive on campus prior to this time. In addition, please drive through the parking lot slowly and carefully for the safety of our faculty and students.
