GARRETT SMITH, NAVY COMMIT, HONORS LEHS TEACHERS WITH IMPACT AWARD
We are very proud of Garrett for taking time to recognize his teachers at LEHS for having a direct impact on him and his education and future career and success. When asked about his future plans, Garrett had this to say, "I have enlisted in the United States Navy into their Nuclear Engineering Field (NEF). This essentially means that I will be responsible for repairing, maintaining, and operating the mechanisms on board ships and submarines for Nuclear Powered Propulsion. After Recruit Training Command (Boot Camp), I have nearly 2 years of additional training for this job, ultimately equating to an Associate's Degree in college credit hours. It is an exciting opportunity to be working in this field for the world's greatest Navy. Not only are the financial incentives great, but to have this kind of job experience is truly unique."
We are super proud of Garrett and wish him the best as he begins his journey in the U.S. Navy.
Mrs. Julie Brown recognized by U.S. Navy as an Impact Influencer
MRS. MARCIA GASTON RECOGNIZED BY U.S. NAVY AS AN IMPACT INFLUENCER
Tardy Policy for LEHS!
Being on time is a life skill and it is very important that we reinforce this life skill with you while you are a student at LEHS. Please see the policy below. House Principals will be reviewing The 5/10 Tardy Policy with all students the first week of school. Please arrive to campus by 7:15am each day so that you can make it to your 1st period on time. The first tardy bell rings at 7:20am.
