Conferences
Please note that unlike elementary school, middle school conferences are not scheduled for every child. Our Counseling Department will work with our grade level teams to identify the students/families for which this type of meeting will be crucial to their academic achievement.
Parents who have not been contacted, but wish to have a team conference, may do so by completing a request via Signup Genius using the specific Grade and Team links below. If you need language or physical accommodations please schedule as soon as possible.
Conferences will be scheduled on a first come, first serve basis. Families will be notified of their confirmed conference time and Zoom link (if needed) when they sign up online. In middle school we find it extremely beneficial to have students attend their conference, so please have your child accompany you to the conference, in person or virtually.
Pay careful attention to Grade Level and Team. Signing up using the incorrect link will impact your ability to schedule a conference during a preferred time. You can find your student's Team information in the Parent Portal.

Winter Athletic Information
Dear Coaches, Players, Parents and Guardians,
Winter sports will begin in November for Girls Basketball and Wrestling. Boys Basketball will
begin in December. Coaches will be providing more information to students prior to tryouts
and practices.
● Depending on the sport and the number of students interested, tryouts may take place
before practices begin.
● Practices will be held each day after school (weather permitting).
● Coaches will announce practice times and distribute schedules to teams once practices
begin.
● PIAA physicals (must dated after June 1, 2023) must be uploaded into Family ID for
your son/daughter to continue to participate in winter sports. If a student is interested
in a winter sport and played a 2023 fall sport with their PIAA physical already in

Dining Night Out
Our next dining night out will be next Thursday, November 16th, from 4-8 pm at Panera West Chester. See the flyer for more information.
Recess Games
Last month, the PTO purchased two sets of Adirondack chairs and a shed for the students to enjoy in the Fugett Courtyard. We are hoping to stock the shed with some outdoor/lawn games for the students to use during their outdoor time post lunch. If you have any gently used lawn games you are looking to donate, or a favorite family game you are willing to purchase, please drop them at the main office. We appreciate it!
Parent Lunch/Recess Volunteers
Speaking of recess, the Fugett Admin, along with the PTO, are hoping to get two parent volunteers to help out during the students lunch and outside recess time. Volunteers must have all of their up to date clearances. Sign ups will be through the PTO Website, so if you haven't created an account yet please do so (and check out the directory and calendar of events too). The signups will go live tomorrow at 5:00 pm. We are going to post the slots one month at a time. Please only sign up for 2 slots to start, to give everyone an opportunity to sign up.
