iPad/tech Announcements
Please remind your students to update their iPad THIS WEEKEND to iPadOS 17.2.
The Update is located in Settings -> General -> Software update. They will need to download AND install the update.
It is also a good time to clean off their iPad. Delete any old Apps they don’t use, Notability notes from middle school, old videos, etc. Using less storage space will make their iPad run better.
Please ask them to keep the case and iPads clean of stickers, dirt, dust, crumbs, etc. Dirt and lint can build up in the charging ports and make the iPad not charge.
Please have them send a schoology message or email (ben.anderson@district196.org) if they have questions or issues.
Grades 9, 10 and 11 Student Registration for Classes for 2024- 2025 School Year
The EHS Student Registration Guide is online on the EHS web site: Click Here for Online Registration information.
January 10 – January 25
With parental guidance, students may now register online during this “open window” period of time.
Our intention is to have all of next year’s students at Eagan High School register online. We expect each student, with parental knowledge and guidance, to be able to access the internet and complete the process.
If you have questions, please feel to contact your student’s counselor at 651-683-6921 or send them an email.

Hey there, Science Olympiad fans! We have some amazing news to share with you. Last Saturday, the EHS Science Olympiad teams, consisting of 54 students, participated in the SSC Meet and emerged victorious in BOTH the JV and Varsity divisions!
This is not just any win for the varsity team, it's their third championship victory in a row! We are beyond proud of our talented young scientists who worked tirelessly to achieve this amazing feat.
We want to take a moment to congratulate all the teams who participated in the SSC Meet. You all did an amazing job and we're proud of each and every one of you. Keep up the great work and let's continue to celebrate the power of science!
Class of 2024: Need Help With College Tuition?
The Eagan Community Foundation scholarship application process opened the evening of January 17th and will close the evening of February 23rd so get started on your essay now! Here are the topics you can choose from and a few tips. Every student is encouraged to submit an application!
We expect to have about 110 scholarships totaling over $130,000. Students can learn more about the process and apply here: https://www.eaganfoundation.org/apply-for-a-scholarship
Awards are based on a variety of criteria including community involvement, those with military parents, those who have persevered through hardships in life, participation in sports and school activities, academic merit and financial need. Only scholarships that are based on financial need require a copy of the front page of your Student Aid Report (SAR) from the FAFSA. We know there are FAFSA challenges this year. Remember, this can either be submitted in the application portal or emailed separately anytime by April 1, 2024.
Scholarships are sponsored by a variety of local businesses, school organizations, family foundations and nonprofits. The Foundation’s Scholarship Program has awarded over 2,300 scholarships totaling more than $2 million in the past 31 years.
Applications will be accepted until February 23, 2024. Visit www.eaganfoundation.org for details.
