Thank you to everyone who helped with cookie decorating in December. We are so thankful to have a school community that steps up to deliver unique experiences for our students. We are so grateful for every moment of time, cookie, jar of icing, and sprinkle that was donated. Your help allowed over 300 students opt-in and participate! THANK YOU!
CharacterStrong
In the month of January, Highland will be focusing on the character trait of perseverance. We hope that you find opportunities to explore the importance of perseverance with your family this month! More details about CharacterStrong can be found on our district website.
PTO Meeting Reminder
Join us in the Highland library at 6:30 pm on January 8 for the monthly PTO meeting. This meeting is special because Mr. Granger, principal of Fairview Intermediate, will be in attendance. Mr. Granger will be able to answer your questions about the opening of the new building. Feel free to bring your children if needed. We just want you to be able to be apart of the amazing things that happen here! If you have any questions ahead of time or are unable to attend the meeting but have questions to ask, please reach out to Heather Pokrowka, PTO President, at Heather.Pokrowka@gmail.com.
Pick-up and Drop-Off
Just a reminder: Please do not arrive too early for pick-up and drop-off lines. The earliest cars should begin lining up for drop-off is 8:10 am. Likewise, the line for pick-up should begin no earlier than 2:45 pm. Thank you!
Slow down in the school zone 🚸
Please be cognizant when driving through the school zone. We have many students walking to and from school. To ensure student safety, please make sure to to stay alert and drive the speed limit! You can expect our students to be walking between 8:00 am-8:45 am and 3:30 pm-4:00 pm. Your caution is very much appreciated!
