Yesterday was a good day of being with God’s people! One of my kids said that it was too bad that I had to work on my birthday; but honestly, there aren’t many things I enjoy more than spending time with my church family to study God’s Word and worship our Savior. Thank you Church Family for the birthday wishes and expressions of your gratitude. I felt loved and cared for on my birthday.

I announced yesterday that Stephenie Bunce is resigning as our church administrative assistant in order to spend more time caring for her family. I am incredibly grateful for Stephenie’s faithful service and her commitment to ministering well with us the past 20 months. It has been a joy to serve alongside her. This means that we are now looking to hire a new administrative assistant to work 30 hours a week. If you or someone you know is interested, please turn in a resume to the Church Office.

If you are married (or engaged) let me encourage you to sign up for our Marriage Weekend, Saturday January 28. Even if you have been married for decades and feel like you have a happy and healthy marriage, we need you to attend. Our church is filled with young couples who need your friendship and encouragement. This weekend would be a good chance for you to invest in our next generation of couples. Cost is $20. Lunch is included.
