The Olive Branch 8.14.23

Welcome to OMS! We are beyond excited to meet and greet "Olive" you on, Wednesday, August 16th from 2:15 - 3:15 pm. For our newest families, "The Olive Branch" will be sent to your email inboxes weekly, usually on Friday's. This is where we communicate all things OMS. Please feel free to contact us at any time, we are here to work together to ensure a great 23-24 school year for your child.

On Thursday, ALL students line up on the playground blacktop behind their class section number. Families/parents that are joining us should stand BEHIND the classes or ALONG THE FENCE. Please do not stand between the class lines and the school as it inhibits our ability to walk students inside the building at 8:55 am.

Please do not arrive prior to 8:45am.

Orange safety cones will be set up in front of the class number that is painted on the blacktop with the teacher's name to assist with finding the correct line. We will also have PTA volunteers in red aprons with class lists in case you or your child need assistance.

ALL KINDERGARTEN CLASSES (AM and PM) will line up just outside of door 7, at the designated line.

All classes will be dismissed from the doors they will use for the remainder of the year.

1st, 3rd, and 4th grade families will meet students outside of door 1 on the front plaza.

Kindergarten, 2nd grade and 5th grade families will meet students outside of door 7 on the blacktop.

Our teachers will meet their classes at their daily assigned locations. Our 1st, 3rd, and 4th graders will line up as a grade level on the plaza. Our kindergarten, 2nd, and 5th graders will line up as grade levels on the blacktop. Classroom teachers will show students their regular line up spot and where to report on Friday morning. Staff will be outside to greet students beginning at 8:50.
