The Counselors Corner

Charlie is curious about everything. He and his best friend, Dillin, are part of the Curious Club. Their curiosity is peaked when Ms. Shirley and her pet parrot, Pierre, move in next door. When they see a colorful trinket filled with that they think is candy, the Curious Club discovers being curious is a good thing, but curiosity without caution can be dangerous.

The Think First Stay Safe Presentations will be taking place next week too. Each classroom will have four lessons and the lessons will take place on October 25th, 26th, 28, and November 1st . These are very age-appropriate lessons about safety provided to the kids by Fair Haven.

All ELC kiddos received a card in their from LCPL for a digital membership!!!

All kiddos brought home a library card today from The Lake County Public Library. It is good for ALL digital content they have available! Take advantage! Follow the steps on the card and check out all the cool things that are offered!

The Leaf Thief is a fall classic- and the kids LOVE this story!

In library this week, the kiddos heard the story of The Leaf Thief and they absolutely love it. They love how crazy squirrel acts and finding out in the end who the real thief is. Their favorite part though is that they got to draw a squirrel! Check out some of the awesome guided drawing below and make sure to ask your kiddo to see their squirrel. They are all SO proud of their art.
