A Note From Mrs. Looman
- There are a lot of upcoming events and opportunities for student activities. Please read down through all the information below to find something of interest for your child.
- We have been noticing an increase in challenging behaviors student behaviors including: student disengagement in learning, work refusal, and disrespect and rudeness toward both peers and adults lately. We as a staff will be examining our school culture and community and looking at what additional supports we may need to put in place for students. I want to assure you that every adult that works in our school is committed to helping students learn and grow and works really hard when confronted with these challenging behaviors to figure out what skills the student may be lacking and how to support them as they learn those skills. However, we need your help. Please talk with your child about the importance of their education, the values of respect and politeness, and asking for help when they need it, and the perseverance to try things that may initially be hard. We want our school community to be a place where students and staff feel safe and eager to learn and grow together.
