Greenfield-Central Schools Host Unified Track Meet
Unified Champions is more than just sporting events and one-day wonders; it is an entire program that brings classmates together in sustained friendships and includes student leadership development. To become involved, you can contact Tori Batson at Special Olympics, and check out the resources on our webpage.
End of the Year Ideas
Some teachers feel that when testing is over there is more latitude in classroom activities to include. A few ideas to explore:
- TCEA (Texas Computer Educators Association) blog post with a nice aggregation of ideas from several sources.
- 150 End of Year Activities from Organized Classroom (some overlap with the above)
- With the NHL playoffs going on now, you could tie in EVERFI's Hockey Scholar activities.
- Purdue Superheroes of Science: Students can earn a "STEM degree."
- Ten Geography Games for Learning
- Review Activities Kids (and You) Won't Hate from AMLE
