Coaching plan submissions are due shortly. Completed plans should be submitted by Tuesday, May 9.

Cohorts 1, 2, 3: Two complete coaching plans are required.

Cohorts 4a, 4b: One complete coaching plan is required.

Cohort 5, 6: One coaching plan with at least 1 TIM-O and at least two quarters complete OR diffusion assignment emailed to you.

The forms below can be used to submit your plans. Select 4th quarter on the form for all completed plans.

The Vanguard school lead phone calls have translated into a wealth of information for us to use while revamping the expectations and coaching plans. Shortly, all school leads will receive aa copy of the updated Vanguard activity requirements. They can provide feedback directly or solicit it from teams. Either way, we hope to have the finalized document to everyone before the end of the year, allowing you to percolate on the information.

Registration for VanCon is now LIVE on Eventbrite! If you're planning to attend, please be sure to let us know on the registration page. More specifics about the event will continue to be sent out as we get closer!

If you have a CONFIRMED transfer, you will be leaving Fulton County, for any reason, OR you have decided to step down from the Vanguard team for the 2017-2018 school year, please complete the following form as soon as possible.

We want to start understanding what positions will be available in the schools next year.

Please do not complete the form unless you have officially confirmed your transfer or exit.

Have you led/held/presented at a school PD and are still missing an off-contract event?

If you'd like one of those activities considered for your off-contract event, please e-mail me the following pieces of information.

- What was the event?

- Where and when was it held?

- How many individuals attended or were affected by the event?

- How did this event incorporate instructional technology or personalized learning?

Please be sure to send/attach any artifacts, photos, etc. from the event.

This week's TIM Tech Tip introduces you to the TUPS or Technology Uses and Perceptions Survey. While we won't need to use it with teachers now, it'll be a great tool to return to with your coachees in the fall.

The Instructional Technology Department has put together an exciting collection of course offerings for this summer. With the influx of devices and transition to personalized learning, this summer is an optimum time to take advantage of FREE professional development facilitated by some of Fulton’s finest Vanguard teachers and KSU coaches. Please help spread the word and encourage others in your building to register soon. We anticipate a lot of interest this summer in instructional technology courses and are expecting the classes to fill quickly.

To view the catalog and register:

• Log into the Employee Portal
• Locate the Edivate icon in My Apps
• Click on View All Catalogs (or Click here) in the Catalog card
• Select the Instructional Technology catalog
• Choose the course title (click on the word TITLE in the grey bar to sort alphabetically)
• Click the + icon

• The course will no longer show under Catalog. Instead, it will be under the Transcript tab

Our friends at Flipgrid have seen a tremendous spike in usage in the Atlanta area following the Bear Creek RLC. So they wanna know some of the ways you've been able to use Flipgrid with your students and the impact it's had on student voice. Use the grid below to share your Flipgrid Impact.

To help us prepare for VanCon, we'd love for you to play the Diffusion Simulation Game designed to help you determine steps for getting teachers to adopt an innovation.

Full instructions are found on the main page, so be sure to read them carefully. Let's see how many adopters you can get! When you finish the game, be sure to download and save your game log.

If you think you've been truly successful at getting folks to adopt your innovation, send your game log to Heather. Vanguard will have a prize for the person with the highest number of adopters!!
