A Note From Mr. Christ
Dear Paddock Families,
I hope you are all having a nice weekend. We have a bunch of fun activities coming up at Paddock school over the next few weeks that I am very excited for. This week, we have McTeacher Night, the Fun Run kick off, and Hispanic Heritage Month celebrations. Next week, the book fair will be in full swing, students will participate in the Fun Run and Fun Run assembly, and Family Reading Night is Thursday evening. A big thank you to all of the volunteers that have helped to make these great things at Paddock School possible. Have a wonderful week.

Fun Run
The Paddock PTA is holding a fundraising campaign which will culminate with students, during school, participating in the Paddock Fun Run on Wednesday, October 4th! Fundraising starts on Monday, September 25 through Tuesday, October 3. The funds raised will help pay for assemblies, events, and programs to enrich the educational experience at Paddock.
This is an important fundraiser for our school and we need your help to make this campaign a success! Paddock School will keep 87-100% of donations*!
How to participate:
- Go to the website https://srp.myfunrun.com
- Click on "Register to Run"
- Fill out the registration form. Once the registration is complete, your child will be given a personal fundraising webpage. If you aren’t sure of the address (URL) of your personal fundraising webpage, go to the website srp.myfunrun.com, click on donate, then enter your child’s first name.
- To raise money, share your child’s personal fundraising web page address with family and friends. You can share your child’s web page easily by clicking on the “Share” icons at the top right of your child’s personal fundraising webpage.
- Students will earn a glow in the dark wristband just for registering online!
- For every $50 a student raises, they will earn a raffle ticket for a chance to win Target gift cards, Five Below gift cards, lunch with Mr. Christ, and more!
- Every classroom that has 50% participation or more by 9/30 will earn a Free Choice Day!
- Top individual fundraisers will get a chance to SLIME Mr. Christ!!
*Cash & check donations are accepted and not subject to the 13% transaction fee. Additionally, those who donate online have the option to cover the transaction fee.

Reflections
Students participate in the appropriate division for their grade: Primary (Pre-K - Grade 2), Intermediate (Grades 3-5), Middle School (Grades 6-8), High School (Grades 9-12), Special Artist (All grades welcome) and submit their completed works of art in one or all of the available arts categories: Dance Choreography, Film Production, Literature, Music Composition, Photography, Visual Arts.
The deadline for art submissions is November 3rd to the Paddock Main Office. Please see the flyer or Reflections website for additional information.
Donuts With Grownups
The Paddock PTA would like to invite all parents, grandparents, and other special adults to join their Paddock student(s) for donuts on Tuesday, October 17th from 7:15 AM-8:00 AM at Paddock School. We will be outside by the basketball courts/black top at the back of the school. Each student can bring up to two grown-ups to this event. We hope you can join us!

Yearbooks On Sale
Paddock Yearbooks are on sale now! With our 5th and 6th graders graduating from Stuart R. Paddock this year, the yearbook is going to be the largest yearbook in years!
You have until April 15, 2023 to customize 2 pages of the yearbook. You can add photos from your computer, Facebook, Instagram, Google Drive & more. The yearbook is $24.95. Enjoy a 10% discount on yearbook purchases until Sept. 30th.

Bilingual Liaison At Paddock

- Wednesday from 8:00-10:00
- Thursday from 2:00-4:00

We encourage any families that require Spanish translation to try and come during one of these times so we can ensure we have the proper support available.
