Page Panther Weekly Update 26

Good morning and happy Friday!

The new principal of Page Elementary has been announced! Debbie Carter will be starting at Page for the 2023-2024 school year. Debbie joined Springfield Public School in 2007 and has held a number of teacher leadership positions. She was a Special Programs TOSA, a Dean of Students, and a Special Educator. Debbie is also a proud graduate of SPS! Please help me welcome Debbie to our amazing Page community!

Elizabeth Page Elementary school is starting a Bikebus on May 4! A Bike Bus is a program supported by Safe Routes to School (SRTS). Two background-checked SRTS staff will provide a chaperoned bike, scooter, or skateboard ride to school. If you don't live directly on the route, feel free to drive your child to any of the stops before the pick-up time. Please wait with them to ensure they don't miss the pick-up. La Escuela Primaria Elizabeth Page está iniciando un Bicibús el 4 de mayo! El Bicibús es un programa apoyado por Rutas Seguras a la Escuela, o Safe Routes to School (SRTS). Dos miembros del personal de SRTS con antecedentes comprobados acompañarán a los niños a la

escuela en bicicleta, patinete, o monopatín. Si usted no vive directamente en la ruta, no dude en llevar a su hijo/a a cualquiera de las paradas antes de la hora de recogida. Por favor, espere con ellos

Do you know any preschool aged students that will come to Page next year for kindergarten? Please help us spread the word about this event coming up in May!

We are able to start welcoming volunteers back into our buildings. To do this you will need to sign up online, pass a background check, and be fully vaccinated. You can find the link on the district website under "district forms".

Please note this is just for volunteers for classrooms. You will need to prearrange your project with the classroom teacher. There are still no visitors allowed in the building at this time.

If you would like more information on volunteering please ask your child's teacher if they need a volunteer.
