As we prepare our community for on-site learning, there will be more communication coming out next week for Grades 1-5, which will include videos, procedures for lunch, mask breaks, arrival and dismissal maps, and more. We are excited to welcome our students back to the BF campus, as we have been preparing for their return.

A few reminders in preparation for on-site learning for Kindergarten students on October 5:

• AM Session- 8:30am-11:00am- Arrival 8:25am
• PM Session- 12:00pm-2:30pm- Arrival 11:55am
• All families must complete the Self-Certification Form
• Pack at least 2 masks for your child
• No on-site learning on Wednesday- all students are remote
• Review the arrival and dismissal procedures for safety
• Check SeeSaw or your email for further information from the BF Kindergarten Team

Before your child can enter the building, all families have been asked to complete a self-certification and verification form. All families will need to log into Skyward to complete the form before your child will be allowed into the school. You can click here for the step-by-step directions.

The procedures for entering and exiting BF school has changed for this school year to ensure the safety of all children and staff members. Parents who have children in multiple grades, will drop off their children at the door for their youngest child. We will make sure the other children who are older are escorted to the proper door. This will be the same for pick-up as parents will pick up their children at the youngest child's location.

The arrival map outlines the areas in which grades K-5 will arrive each day. Parents will make 1 drop off on campus for their children in multiple grades. The dismissal map outlines where to pick up your child at 1:30pm on the days they are in attendance.

Students in Grades K, 1 & 4 will be dropped off on the North side of the school. K will enter door 14, 1st grade will walk to Door 1(Main Entrance) and 4th grade will walk to their classroom outside doors.

Students in Grades 2, 3, & 5 will be dropped off on the South side of the school. Students in Grade 5 will walk to their classroom doors which are in front of the school, 2nd graders(Molina) will have one entrance on the side where cars drop off and the other 2nd grade (Conroy) and 3rd graders will enter their classrooms from the back playground area.

Please remember that the playground will be closed before school, during school, and at dismissal. Make sure your child has a mask on when exiting the cars on the passenger side.

On Saturday, October 17, from 9:00am-12:00pm, come and join the BF families for the first annual PTA Scarecrow Stroll. Click here for all of the registration details and links. Don't forget there will be family photos taken along with pumpkins for our students to take home for FREE!!

On October 3, the PTA Dairy Queen Fundraiser will close. All orders should be emailed to MainStDQ@gmail.com. Orders will be ready on October 9. Payment is due at time of pick-up. 20% of the sales will go to the BF PTA.
