• Wednesday, October 18 - Chesterton Live Math Session Math 30-1 and Math 30-2 meet at the SILC Center / online too at the same time.

• Thursday, October 26 - Student Engagement Day 1-3 pm for all students ..come into the center - Dress up for Halloween.

November

November 1 & 2nd Parent Teacher Interviews ... please book a time with your child's teacher.

Fall Break November 6 - 10th ... Instruction resumes November 13

Check- in with your child to see where they are at in their course work. Take the time to engage in the conversation.

We have a number of students who have not submitted assignments.

Help your child set up a routine and time to do their work.

If you need support please contact us. Our Family Wellness Worker Katie ... is great at setting up schedules for students based on their specific needs.

Please note that the admin will be calling homes this week to check on those students, as teachers have reached out already.

We all want SUCCESS and completion of course work.

Parent Workshop on Internet Safety for Children on October 19, 2023 at 6:30pm in collaboration with Saffron and Strathcona County. It will be an in-person workshop and it is open to all EICS K-4 Parents (children do not attend).

First , you can contact your Math teacher directly.

Need some help with your courses? Need to write an exam? Want to come in and get post-secondary advice? You are WELCOME here.

SILC has it's own entrance on the East side of the building, main level; however, you can access us from the main doors as well. Students who are driving, feel free to park in the parking lot and let reception know you have parked there. Students taking Public Transportation, walk across from Bethel Transit Station and come on in!

The SILC Classroom (Centre) is open to student drop-in:

Friday - 8:30 - 3:30 open teachers available by appointment

Feel free to join us for every first Friday of the Month at 8:30 am at OLPH Church for Rosary & Mass & Fellowship . We also use Fridays for Chester sessions, fieldtrips, exams, and team meetings.
