OLLV Catholic School

Be it known to all who enter here, that Christ is the reason for this school. He is the unseen, but ever present teacher in the classrooms, the model of its faculty, and the inspiration of its students.

This week we will be focusing on being Accountable. As we start Trimester 2, students have the opportunity to start fresh and be sure they are turning in homework, studying for tests and following school rules.

It's time for our annual Turkey Pluck benefitting Catholic Charities. Bring in $ to purchase feather for your class or to "pluck" feather from another class. The teacher from the class with the least amount of feathers on Friday, November 17th will have to do the Chicken Dance on broadcast.

This is a courtesy reminder that we strongly discourage you from picking up your kids early from school. Per the student handbook students should not be picked up within the last 30 minutes of the day. In the rare occasion students do need to leave for an appointment, please email attendance@ollv.org the day before so your teachers can have them ready.

If your child forgets their lunch and we need to provide one there will be an $10 charge on FACTS for the lunch. Please be sure to order Better Lunch in time or send your child with a lunch from home.

Should you wish to volunteer in your child's classroom or be a chaperone on a field trip please ensure that you have completed fingerprinting, background checks, and the CMG program. You may pick up a volunteer packet in the front office. Please know that this clearance process takes between four and six weeks.
