I hope this email finds you well and you are enjoying your summer break. As we gear up to start a new school year, I’m excited to share a few updates with you.


First and foremost, as your new school administrator, I look forward to working with you this year to continue to build upon the strong foundation built by our dedicated predecessors and the amazing staff, parents and students, who have contributed to our school’s many achievements over the past decade. Our school has and will continue to provide an excellent and robust online educational experience for our students, preparing them to grow academically and personally, so they can pursue their passions and achieve personal success.

I’m also excited to share that our online school has been renamed and rebranded as “Lakeville Online Academy.” Formerly known as LinK12 Lakeville, this change reflects our school’s commitment to excellence in online education. Our new name and logo align with our mission to provide students with high-quality, personalized learning options and opportunities through an online environment that fosters growth, engagement and success. Our school was one of the first online public schools in Minnesota, so by including “Lakeville” we are recognizing our roots to our community and commitment to fostering strong relationships with parents, guardians, and the community to ensure the success of our students and our school as a whole.


We are currently in the process of updating our official communications, website, and other materials to reflect our new name.


As we prepare for the 2023-24 school year at Lakeville Online Academy, I am filled with optimism about the possibilities that lie ahead.
